I can’t say enough good things about Walt Eger’s Service Center! They saved me a lot of money compared to the dealership I had been using. Not only were their prices much more reasonable, but they were also completely honest about what my car actually needed. The dealership told me there were several things wrong with my car, but Walt Eger’s Service Center thoroughly inspected it and found that many of those repairs weren’t needed at all. Their honesty and integrity gave me so much peace of mind. I’m incredibly grateful for their excellent service, fair pricing, and trustworthy staff. It’s refreshing to find a repair shop that truly puts its customers first. I’m so glad I came here, and I’ll definitely be returning for future service. Great people, outstanding customer service, and highly recommended!

Seriously the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto shop. Coming from Delaware, I had no idea how Maryland inspections worked, and Sam and the two guys up front made the whole process so easy. They explained everything, were super nice, and really tried to save me money instead of adding on a bunch of unnecessary stuff. You can tell they actually care about their customers, which is so hard to find. I’ll definitely be coming back for anything my car needs from now on. So glad I found this place!

The technician that was assigned to my case at this shop was either incompetent or malicious. Stopped in for a delayed clunking sound that occurred when driving over bumps - I suspected it was either a damaged strut or a loose heat shield. The tech performed an inspection of filters and fluids (without permission) and determined my brake fluid level was too high and suggested a $220 fluid flush. My brake fluid is 5 MONTHS OLD and the level is high because I just had my pads and rotors changed - this was my first red flag. Even if the high fluid was an issue, you could remove the excess in 10 seconds with a turkey baster for free! The tech was able to reproduce the clunk, but over the phone said they couldn't identify any issue with the suspension. Despite this - they requested to burn $270 on a new sway bar and stabilizer links? After reading the brake fluid quote, I was suspicious - but this pushed me over the edge. Thankfully, I opted to just take it home after confirming the struts were fine. After picking it up, the clunking was gone (miraculously without replacing the sway bar!). Almost certainly was a loose part that was corrected during the investigation. They either knew that something was loose and lied about it - or didn't recognize the part was loose and accidentally fixed it. Both scenarios are bad. I paid $90 to give them an up-sell opportunity, to confirm my struts weren't broken, and to misdiagnose the problem. Great work folks, wish I had just looked under the car myself. The only good thing I can say about my experience was that their courtesy car service was convenient and their staff were very friendly.
